Dee Woodcock is a Fellow of the Animal Care College, and its Canine Psychology Advisor. She has written numerous courses in canine behaviour, training and care, and has tutored students in behavioural studies, pet bereavement counselling and natural healing for dogs and cats.

Dee was the Behaviour Consultant for Dogs Monthly magazine from Spring 1999 to Spring 2008, and wrote each month on behavioural topics, as well as answering many questions from readers in her Dogsense column. She has also written for Pet Dogs, Mad About Dogs, and Eukanuba magazines. Currently she writes for Our Dogs. She is the author of three books, and many canine behaviour and care courses.

She is a member of the Federation of Dog Trainers and Canine Behaviourists, and has been a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (No. 158) since 1994. She is a Reiki Master Practitioner, and uses natural healing to help both people and pets.

She lives in Berkshire with her husband, David, and Caelen, her second Golden Retriever. Many years were shared with four generations of German Shepherd Dogs, and then Tayla, her first Goldie.

Dee taught obedience classes for ten years, teaching puppy, beginners, intermediate and advanced level classes. She ran a busy behavioural practice for nine years, working on veterinary referral.

Much of her time now is taken up with photography, some writing ... and having fun with Caelen of course!
